Michelle & Philip's engagement session at Ashridge Forest
I finally got to meet Michelle and Philip a year after booking their wedding photography with me at the beautiful Ashridge Forest in Hertfordshire for their pre wedding engagement session. It was the first sign of Spring with some warmer weather and the sun shining after the long cold January and February that had just passed.
We went for a wonder in the woods to have a chat about their upcoming wedding which will be held at Manor Farm Barn in Marsh Gibbon, Bicester. This will be my first wedding there which I am absolutely looking forward to, the barn looks stunning and I know it will be beautifully decorated by Michelle and Philip. With its beautiful manor house and gardens surrounded by gorgeous countryside perfect for capturing a variety of couple portraits.
Ashridge Forest is a beautiful location run by the National Trust not just great for engagement sessions but for family and dog walks. It is well known for it’s Bluebells that bloom every year. It’s a great place to grab an Ice Cream or visit the on site Cafe. With various walks to complete we also came across a log cabin a short walk into the woods.
I can’t wait to share Michelle and Philip’s wedding with you all at the end of April!
If you’re planning your own big day, get in touch, I’d love to hear from you!
