Jenna & Nathan's Wedding at The White Horse, Tea Green
Jenna and Nathan booked me after attending a wedding reception at the same venue. After Jenna and Nathans engagement session I could not wait for their wedding day! Jenna and Nathan got married this June and I’m here to tell you all about it!
Jenna got ready at her Mum and Dads house where she grew up. Her sisters, niece and sister in law were all there on hand to help Jenna get ready. It was a lovely relaxed morning. Jenna chose a beautiful blush pink colour for her bridesmaids and she had organised her bridesmaids and Mum some really beautiful boxes full of thoughtful little goodies. Jenna went for a really elegant updo beautifully done by her hairdresser Dani which went perfectly with her dress. I absolutely loved the lace detail against the smooth fabric. Amy Jenna’s sister did the make-up for Jenna. They were all ready nice and early so we got time to get out in the garden and get some photos with Mum and Dad and the bridesmaids and not to forget the 2 adorable flower girls who joined later on in the morning.
Jenna made her way to the ceremony in a limo with the whole gang. Nathan was there ready waiting with their son Jaxon, who got to get ready with Daddy and the boys. The ceremony was held in the extension at the White Horse in the tiny village of Tea green in Bedfordshire. It is a lovely modern room with some exposed brickwork and beams covered in fairy lights making it look really pretty. Jenna got to see her son Jaxon before going in so he could take the lead and walk down the aisle with Nanny. The kids looked so cute in their navy shorts and their little pink bow ties and those braces, cuteness overload!
After The Ceremony
Jenna and Nathan got to greet their guests before we quickly rushed out to do the confetti before it started to rain. Luckily the rain stopped for us to go and get some gorgeous couple portraits and the all important group shots on the green outside of the pub. The reception was set up in the same room as the ceremony. It always amazing me how they can turn around the room so quickly and make it look so stunning. Jenna’s sister in law did a beautiful job making some beautiful center pieces using glass bottles and rustic string. The White Horse has a lovely wooden play area in the garden which was great for keeping the little ones entertained while the adults got to relax.
After dinner were the speeches, I loved hearing how they met at school and had been together since, a proper love story! In the evening we made our way outside to take advantage of the evening sun, there are some beautiful corn fields around the back perfect for that golden light.
For the first dance Jenna had arranged a surprise confetti balloon for their first dance. It was the first time I’d seen one and it looked amazing in the photos. The after party was immense!!!! Everyone was up on the dance floor! I really enjoyed being able to catch some great dance moves on the camera, they are great photos to look back on and it brings back great memories, it’s so good to see everyone having such a good time!
Take a look at their day…..
